What would I do at Litmus?

We are looking to hire ambitious, self-starters to join our growing Business Development (BDR) team. As a member of the BDR team, you will be responsible for initiating sales cycles within your defined territory through emails, phone calls, and social media. Your primary goal will be to set meetings and qualify opportunities for our sales team.

This is a growth-focused role, so as a BDR at Litmus, you will be armed with the essential skills necessary to become a trusted advisor to our prospects. As the future Account Executives and Account Managers of our sales team, you will learn to master the fundamentals that will prepare you to run an entire sales cycle.

Litmus BDRs: Seven Components to Success

  • High activity & timing: Efficiently manage a high volume of both outbound and inbound emails, phone calls, and LinkedIn.
  • Creativity & personalization: Use thoughtful research to be creative & personalized in your outreach in order to stand out
  • Product knowledge: Become a trusted advisor by constantly improving your working knowledge of the Litmus solution
  • Qualification: Learn how to qualify effectively, focusing time & effort on opportunities that will convert & close.
  • Process-oriented: Follow an integrated process through intimate knowledge of our systems, including Salesforce, LinkedIn, sourcing tools, sales cadence software, and more.
  • Organization: A disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals, and achieving success
  • Attitude: As a BDR, you need energy, passion, humor, and enthusiasm, and the ability to be resilient in the face of challenges.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a BDR/SDR, with the desire for career growth
  • Hands-on experience with sales prospecting techniques such as cold calling, cold emailing and social outreach.
  • Track record of carrying & achieving sales quotas
  • Fair understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Salesforce experience preferred
